ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
WORK GROUPS SEEKING MEMBERS
The Northwest Hennepin Family Services Collaborative (NWHFSC) is looking for community residents, business leaders and local service providers to become a part of the NWHFSC Focus Area Work Groups. The Collaborative service delivery area includes three school districts: Brooklyn Center Schools, Osseo Area School and the Hennepin County side of the Anoka Hennepin School District and all or portions of the following cities: Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Osseo, Maple Grove, Dayton, Champlin, Corcoran, Rogers, and Ward 1 of Plymouth.
The Northwest Hennepin Family Service Collaborative is seeking individuals who are interested in working on one of two Focus Area Work Groups:
Family Stability: The Family Stability Workgroup is focused on developing a continuum of coordinated mental health initiatives and community resources that support families and children in the Northwest Hennepin Family Service Collaborative service delivery area.
Literacy: The Literacy Workgroup focuses on school readiness, academic achievement, literacy skills and family literacy needs across the NW Hennepin area. Primary focus is placed on the needs of English Language Learners, school readiness and children who are reading two or more years below grade level.
Work Group members assist in providing input to and identifying gaps and barriers to services for families living in our community.
